Indonesia has acknowledged as an charcoal producer in the world market; it is noted that Indonesia is one of the five largest charcoal exporting countries in the world, such as China, Malaysia, South Africa, and Argentina. In 2000, Indonesia exported 29,867,000 Kg of charcoal consisting of coconut shell charcoal (15.96%), mangrove charcoal (22.31%), and wood charcoal (61.73%).

Charcoal is produced from the carbonization process of carbon-containing materials, especially wood biomass. This product is mainly used as a renewable alternative energy source whose demand always increases yearly. Seeing this phenomenon, we established PT Triananda Karya Perdana in 2020 to focuses on manufacturing high-quality, environmentally friendly charcoal.
